A Taste of Winter on the Trail!

Our last four hikes have definitely been on the chilly side! Winter is coming; that’s for sure. Our travels on the Doudy Draw, Spring Brook North, Flatirons Vista South, Chapman Drive and Tenderfoot Trails were a mix of cold, cloudy, sunny and snowy. As well as the usual amazing vistas, we saw lots of deer and wild turkeys, whom the dogs met with curiosity and peacefulness. Our furry hikers included Gracy, Izegem and Jack, who all worked really hard and earned a good rest. After a little over 30 miles of hiking, it’s safe to say we’ve earned one, too!
