Springtime on the Trail!
Our hikes this week with Mozart, Otis, Gracy, Lu and Jack were at opposite ends of the Springtime spectrum: one was warm and sunny and the other was chilly and rainy, and both were wonderful! We traveled the Big Bluestem, Shanahan, Chapman Drive and Tenderfoot Trails, amidst ever-increasing greenery and animal activity. We were surrounded by wild turkeys gobbling away in the distance and all kinds of song birds singing their catchy tunes. We even came upon a big, friendly bull snake sunning herself on the trail! What a wonderful place!
