Great Week of Chilly, February Hikes!

This week, the trails were a mixture of snow, ice, mud and dry patches in between. Variable conditions like these make for great workouts for pups and humans alike. We’re all a little more tired than usual at the end of the day, and it’s well earned! Most of the furry, usual suspects were present this week as we hiked the Homestead, Shadow Canyon, Mesa, Chapman Drive, Doudy Draw and Flatirons Vista South Trails, the last of which revealed a fox skull with some fur, flesh and whiskers still attached. The rest of the remains were nowhere in sight. Interesting find, indeed.
